General Travel Agent Information

1. More hotels/short breaks available - This site lists our favoured hotels and short breaks in each country. Travel Indochina can quote on many more hotels/short breaks that are not on this site. Ask our reservations team about additional ideas. 

2. Double Check: - All services are confirmed as per your request. Vietnam particularly is currently experiencing a high demand for hotel rooms. Every effort has been made to confirm your clients first option but this will not always be possible. Please double check all confirmations to ensure you are clear which hotels have been confirmed prior to invoicing your client.

3. Airfare: - If booked through TIC queue a copy for approval. If PNR is not sighted by us we cannot guarantee the fare. See below for how to queue.

4. Visa: - It is essential that you ensure your clients have all relevant visas for their journey. Australian Passport holders currently require visas for Vietnam, Laos and China, which must be acquired prior to departure. Cambodian visas can be obtained at international airports on arrival, if travelling overland your client must obtain a visa prior to departure. If your client is entering a country twice they will need a double entry visa. A transit visa is essential in Hanoi even if connecting in the same day and not leaving the airport.

5. Amendments:  Tailor Made Holidays (FIT): First Amendment free of charge - A deposit must be paid before change can be actioned, each amendment thereafter costs $60 per change. Additional fees apply after document issue.

HOW TO QUEUE TO TRAVEL INDOCHINA
When you Queue a PNR to Travel Indochina you are sending us a copy of the PNR. Travel Indochina does not take over the booking, we cannot see amendments made or ticketing time limits. If you change your clients PNR at any stage it is your responsibility to re-Queue the booking to Travel Indochina for ticket issue. Please add the following note in your booking "BOOKING AMENDED PLS DISREGARD ORIGINAL PNR".

TRAVEL IN ASIA - Points to note
Train Travel:  Class and availability are subject to change as tickets can often only be purchased in the country at the last moment due to local Rail Authority regulations.  Train travel in Vietnam is in shared 4 berth compartments.  On overnight train journeys passengers will be required to share with other people.

Room Type:  Where possible, we will endeavour to accommodate couples in double rooms.  On occasions during the trip this may not be possible and a twin room will be supplied.  Triple rooms can be a little tight at at some hotels and the third person may be sleeping on a roll away bed.  If this arrangement is unsuitable, you will need to upgrade your clients room type prior to departure.

Children: Some hotels allow 1 child under the age of 12 to share existing bedding with 2 adults. Children may be charged for breakfast. Please note that if you require a separate bed for the child triple rooms must be booked. For families with 2 adults and 2 children in most cases you will need to book 2 rooms.
