This fun, family-friendly tour in one of Asia’s most beguiling destinations allows you to experience the capital, Vientiane, and enchanting Luang Prabang. Traditional welcome ceremonies, elephant treks, tuk-tuk touring and a stay in a rural ecolodge make this a fun tour for people of all ages!

Day 1: Enjoy a traditional ‘Baci’ welcome ceremony in Vientiane to bless the beginning of your journey. You will then visit magnificent Wat Pha That Luang and the Patuxai Monument.

Day 2: Fly to Luang Prabang and take a fun afternoon tuk-tuk tour of some of the city’s finest temples. The legacy of the European presence here – well-preserved French architecture and careful street planning – has blended delightfully with more than 30 gilded Buddhist temples to create a town rich in atmosphere and history. Climb Mt Phou Si to watch the sunset behind the surrounding mountains.

Day 3: Watch hundreds of robed orange monks collecting their morning alms - a magical sight. You will then travel to the beautiful Kuang Si falls for a swim and to see some tigers and bears cared for by a local wildlife sanctuary.

Day 4: Visit a local weaving village then spend the day travelling through verdant jungle scenery on the back of an elephant, just as Laotian kings once did.

Day 5: Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.

Inclusions: 4 nights accommodation with breakfast daily, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, transport including tuk-tuk ride in Luang Prabang, private touring, entrance fees, local English-speaking guide (N.B. your Luang Prabang guide will not accompany you to the elephant camp on day 4),
arrival transfer on tour start day and departure transfer on any day.

N.B:
An Executive Suite room will be provided at the Novotel Vientiane. A triple room with an extra bed (if required) will be provided at the Villa Saykham in Luang Prabang. One large room with extra beds will be provided at the Lao Spirit Resort.
