Cruise the ‘Mother of Waters’ to the wild paradise of the ‘4,000 islands’ on the Vat Phou, your comfortable floating air-conditioned teak hotel, with twelve cabins, each with twin beds and private hot and cold running water bathroomsDay 1: Drive south from Pakse to the 4,000 Islands area of the Mekong, where you will visit Khonepapheng Falls, the largest falls on the mighty Mekong. You will also visit the small fishing village of Xieng Di and dine at a local restaurant. Later in the day, board your long-tail boat for the short distance to the Wat Phou boat. Enjoy dinner under the stars before settling into your cabin.

Day 2: Enjoy breakfast on deck, then visit a traditional Lao village amidst the beautiful 4,000 Islands area. Explore the spectacular hidden forest temple of Oum Moung and Huei Thamo village. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner under the stars on deck.

Day 3: Mid-morning arrive at Champassak town for a riverside lunch, then explore the atmospheric ruins of the 10th century Wat Phou temple complex, which pre-dates Angkor Wat. After touring, return to the main road by small boat, and drive back to Pakse.
