Brief Itinerary:

Day 1 – Depart Luang Prabang this morning and head upriver on the mighty Mekong. At the confluence of the Nam Ou and Mekong Rivers you will visit the famous Pak Ou caves filled with thousands of Buddha effigies following centuries old traditions. Continue onto the small riverside town of Pakbeng to spend the evening. 

Day 2 – Depart Pakbeng this morning and spend the day gliding up the Mekong taking amidst the amazing verdant jungle scenery. Visit a small riverside village en-route to your final destination. Journey will conclude on arrival in Huay Xai.

Inclusions: 
1 night accommodation, meals as specified, entrance fees, all transport, local English-speaking guides, transfer from Luang Prabang Hotel to boat jetty  

N.B: 
The boat is sizeable (with an open deck for standing and walking) and has a roof for shelter from rain and sun. There is a simple western-style toilet on board the boat. Any transfers to Thailand/hotel in Huay Xai are not included in the cost.
